What Every Bride Must Know Before Their Big Day

Future brides, listen up. What you are about to read is going to give you a leg up on all your female friends. I know you have probably fantasized about your wedding being the most romantic, most memorable moment in your entire life. You picture the spacious ballroom, adorned with the most beautiful furnishings; you picture how you stand out of the crowd with your expensive dress, and how all the pictures taken on the day look amazing under the perfect ballroom lighting. You picture all of this. But sadly, if you are like 99% of brides on their big day, your actual wedding does not meet your expectations. Instead, it is more likely that your wedding will be a big disappointment. And you will be more stressed, more flustered, or perhaps even more embarrassed than you imagined you'd ever be. There are several reasons why this happens, and if you keep on reading, you will not only find out what they are, but how you can be in that one percent of women who actually enjoy their big day. You will be the only one among your married friends who won't have a nervous breakdown.

So what is it that makes only a small portion of weddings perfect? What are the factors that make only one wedding out of every hundred a beautiful, elegant blast? I hate to break it to you, but just as in the business world, it comes down to location - it basically boils down to the nature of the wedding venue.

Let's face it, practically every wedding venue you'll visit will look good. Some better than others, but for the most part, they all have a touch of elegance that make it perfect to host big events. But there is a subtle difference between the top venues, and the average ones - and this subtle difference can make all the difference. This difference - the difference that will ultimately make or break your wedding day - is the lighting of the venue. You're probably thinking to yourself: what is this guy talking about? How on earth does lighting make or break a wedding day? Can't it be a fun event without the proper lighting?

And my answer is no. Not at all. Never.

Listen to this very carefully. Your wedding day will suck if the lighting sucks. This is an unavoidable truth that sadly far few brides focus on. They often pay attention to the tiniest little trinkets adorned throughout the ballroom, and they fail to notice the most important aspect altogether.

Why is lighting the most important factor to having a successful wedding?

Well, this is going to raise more than a few eyebrows, and I know many will scoff at the notion, but I will tell it anyway. Those few ladies out there who are willing to put in practice their curiosity will benefit from what I am about to say. The rest will fall into that 99% that look back on their wedding day as the tepid, lukewarm event that it turned into.

The answer to this question, the answer to why lighting is so important, is that women know that it is the quality of the lighting plays a significant part in how the bride looks in pictures.

Think about it for a moment. Deep down, even if she has not thought of this explicitly, the bride knows that pictures will be taken, and that they will be seen by many, many people. Family and friends will look at pictures of the bride, and either think to themselves, "Wow, she looked great," or, "Oh my goodness, she looks like a clown in an expensive dress!"

The bride knows that her beauty is on display for the night, and whether she looks good or bad generally has a significant influence on her mood of the setting, which has an influence on the entire audience's mood. A mad, stressed bride, means an uncomfortable social setting for all present.

A bride who knows she is going to look unattractive in most of her pictures, will, deep down in her subconscious, go berserk. She might not tell you the exact reason, because she might not even know it herself, but deep down, she knows she wants to look amazing in all the photos. But she knows she probably won't if the lighting is off. She knows she will look like a female with a painted face in an expensive dress. She'll feel lousy, unattractive, and thus stressed.

So don't let this happen to you. Make sure you get the right lighting.

But I know what you're thinking. How do I gauge what the right lighting is? How can I know if the lighting is good, bad, or average?

That is a question we can leave up to the experts/ I have some idea what can be done. I can tell you which ballrooms get the lighting right every single time. I can tell you how to reach out to them, but anything further is beyond my purview.

But I'll tell you one thing that's not beyond the scope of my knowledge. Enchanted Cypress is the most elegant ballroom with the best lighting I have ever witnessed. Every single picture taken in that ballroom looks absolutely amazing.

In fact, Enchanted Cypress has made such a name for itself that women from all over the world are requesting to have their big days hosted there. They come from the west coast, the east coast and up north. It doesn't matter where they are living, they just want to make sure their wedding is a big success.

And at Enchanted, it will be. Find out more.
